CR (Campus Recreation) Membership, formerly known as ARC Membership, incorporates the amenities and services of the ARC and other CR programming. These private yoga lessons can either be one-on-one or buddy depending on your interest. You also have the opportunity to work with either a student instructor or one of our contract instructors. Prices vary depending on instructor.

Active CR membership is required to attend classes all throughout the year, including summers.
Class registration ends at 11:59 p.m. on April 13th. All transfer requests need to be submitted to the Fitness & Wellness Center by April 13th at noon.
Mind/Body Mat Policy:
For hygiene purposes, we will now be requiring students to bring their own mats to yoga and/or Pilates classes. If you do forget to bring a mat, we will have a limited amount of mats available for checkout before class.
AcroFit is a conditioning class that will help you build functional strength, increase active flexibility, coordination and balance, and work stabilizer muscles. This class is designed based on AcroYoga, and uses conditioning techniques from yoga, acrobatics, dance, pilates, crossfit and weight lifting. We will focus on the entire body - from core strength to unify the body, to leg stability and arm strenght for handstands and inversions.
AcroFit is appropriate for all levels of experience… be prepared for a fun and challenging workout!

AcroYoga is a partner practice that blends the wisdom of yoga, the dynamic power of acrobatics, and the loving kindness of Thai Massage. It cultivates trust, playfulness, and community, while building strength, balance and flexibility. Typically working in teams of three, where each takes turns basing, flying and spotting, to support and empower each other to reach new heights and celebrate the joy of embodiment.
Morning Vinyasa Yoga
Wake up your morning with an energetic flowing class, synchronizing breath with movement, allowing your yoga practice to become a moving meditation. Build strength, flexibility and concentration. Vinyasa relieves tension in the body and calms the mind. Each class will include breathwork, meditation, relaxation and thorough instructions on refinement of poses. Students are encouraged to work at their own level.
Dim the lights, put on some soothing music, and let any stress just melt away. This slow-paced class uses a variety of postures to hold for about five minutes, targeting the connective tissue, ligaments, and joints. It is important to bend so we do not break, so use this class to compliment your exercise routine and maintain balance in your body.
BarreFlow is a fun and energetic system of exercise combining a rhythmic flow of Pilates, Dance, Yoga and Fitness. This dynamic total body workout features use of various props including Ballet Barres, weights, balls and resistance bands. Experience the fluid movement and seamless flow of BarreFlow as you develop functional strength, natural grace and personal flexibility. This is a multi-level class barefoot class. (Shoes are optional)
No dance experience is required.
Total Body Pilates - This Pilates mat class will be a combination of traditional Pilates exercises, focusing on form and the principals, as well as, more contemporary exercises using small props. Students will learn to work their bodies from the inside out, discovering muscles they never knew they had. This class is designed to condition the entire body and promote balanced musculature, flexibility, and agility.
Vinyasa Power Flow

Power Flow is based on flowing Vinyasa movement of Ashtanga yoga, but uses variety of postures (instead of a set series of postures like Ashtanga yoga) to cultivate balance, flexibility, strength and endurance. This is a strong and fun class and is great for athletes!

Essentially Vinyasa's literal translation is "connection"--whether it's connection of your breath to movement, connection to the present moment--both can be true. We "flow" which means we go from one yoga pose to another (almost) seamlessly. Be prepared to sweat and have fun! We will work on building strength, flexibility, coordination and balance. The practice of yoga promotes overall health--physical and mental. It also helps in lowering stress as well as increasing focus and concentration while teaching you how to be calm and peaceful even in the midst of challenge.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Wind down your day with a calming vinyasa flow. The word Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement.” In other words, the teacher will instruct you to move from one pose to the next on an inhale or an exhale. This technique is sometimes called Vinyasa Flow, or just Flow because of the smooth way that the poses run together and become like a dance.
The practice of Yoga is a complete system of practices including stretches, meditation and breathe exercises that date back to ancient India. It works on the physical and subtle body to soften the dense outer layers of our being allowing us to feel and know ourselves. By softening the physical body, we relax and become more comfortable with who we are. Yoga brings us closer to what is true for us and gives us courage to stand rooted in our authentic selves. We become confident and peaceful because we realize we are already perfect (even within our imperfections) and exactly where we need to be in this process and journey called life.
