The Memorial Union department supports the Division of Student Affairs outcomes which are; time to completion, GPA, and retention, while staying relevant and pertinent to the changing student body demographic and interests.

The charge of the Memorial Union Advisory Council is to review the operational, programmatic and fiscal operations of the Memorial Union and its units the Memorial Union Information Desk, the Games Area, Gunrock Gaming and Outdoor Adventures and to recommend steps to create a campus community that supports student success through recruitment, retention and engagement. This process will include, but will not be limited to, the current practices, programs, facility usage priorities, and policies.
