Youth Programs 12th Annual Children's Summer Activities Faire

Saturday March 10, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Davis Farmer's Market

UC Davis Campus Recreation and Unions and the City of Davis Community Services Department will be hosting the 12th Annual Children’s Summer Activities Faire on Saturday, March 10th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Davis Farmer’s Market. The Faire is a free event that will feature children’s crafts and other activities. In an effort to promote Davis’s youth-oriented summer programs, the Faire promises a day of fun and games for both children and parents alike.

Spring Swim Lessons

Learn to swim with Campus Recreation. During the spring and summer, we offer group and private swimming lessons for learners of all ages. Due to the many skills required at each swimming level, it is not uncommon for students to repeat a class. We try to accommodate additional classes based on demand and available pool space, however we reserve the right to cancel or combine classes with fewer than three participants. After taking a class, if you or your student advances to the next level please be sure to notify the Youth Programs Administrative Office via email ( on the last day of the lesson so we can move students, based on availability, into the new level.

Spring: Adult & Youth Group Lessons

Pricing: A: $70 / B: $75

Spring Session 1: April 23–May 16, Monday/Wednesday
Spring Session 2: April 24–May 17, Tuesday/Thursday

Classes are four weeks long, either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday and last 35 minutes. Youth Group Lessons are 6:10-6:45pm and Adult Lessons are 6:50-7:25pm. Registration begins March 7 at 12p.m. (noon).

Spring: Private Lessons

Pricing:  A: $110 / B: $120

Classes are two weeks long, Monday through Thursday, 6:50-7:25 pm. 

Session 1: April 23–May 2, 6:50-7:25 p.m. p.m., Monday/Wednesday

                  April 24–May 3, 6:50-7:25 p.m., Tuesday/Thursday

Session 2: May 7-May 16, 6:50-7:25 p.m., Monday/Wednesday

                  May 8-May 17, 6:50-7:25 p.m., Tuesday/Thursday
