Youth Programs 10th Annual Children's Summer Activities Faire
Showcase of Davis Summertime Youth Programs
Saturday March 12, 9 a.m.–1 p.m.
Davis Farmer's Market
UC Davis Campus Recreation and Unions and the City of Davis Community Services Department will be hosting the 10th Annual Children’s Summer Activities Faire on Saturday, March 12th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Davis Farmer’s Market. The Faire is a free event that will feature children’s crafts and other activities. In an effort to promote Davis’s youth-oriented summer programs, the Faire promises a day of fun and games for both children and parents alike.
Learn to swim at the Rec Pool. During the spring and summer, we offer group swimming lessons. Due to the many skills required at each new level, it is not uncommon for children to repeat a class. If you are unsure of your child’s swimming level, please stop by the Rec Pool during rec swim to have your child evaluated by a manager. We will try to accommodate additional classes based on demand and available pool space. However, this means we reserve the right to cancel or combine classes with fewer than three participants. After taking a class, if your child advances to the next level please be sure to notify the Youth Programs Administrative Office on the last day of the lesson so we can move them, based on availability, into that new level.
