A Week of Free Classes
Fitness and Wellness programs help you stay fit, improve your energy levels and release stress with fellow Aggies. This fall, we’re excited to introduce awesome additions to Group Exercise and Instructional Series. Students and CRU members can try these classes for free September 29–October 5.
Mark Your Calendar for The Buzz 2014
The Buzz kicks off the school year on September 30. This unforgettable free event on the Quad includes live performances, mechanical bulls, casino games, arts and crafts, raffles, giveaways, and more. The Buzz also offers UC Davis students the chance to take advantage of valuable campus resources.
Helping More Students Play Music and Ride Horses
The Gill family’s generous donation to the California Aggie Marching Band (CAMB) and Equestrian Center provides financial assistance for qualifying participants. You can apply for the fee waiver online; the deadline for the CAMB 2014–2015 application has passed, but you can still apply for the Equestrian Center waiver.
A Place Your Horse Can Call Home
The Equestrian Center offers boarding for student-owned horses year round. Board includes stall cleaning, twice daily feeding, 24/7 care from barn supervisors, and access to the center’s riding tracks and arenas. Students can also join any of the equestrian teams based at the center.
Stop by the Rec Pool Before Season Close
The end of summer and an approaching school year mark the closing of the Rec Pool on Tuesday, September 30. Grab your bathing suit, towel and some friends to soak up the sunshine and take a last dip in the pool before academics kick into high gear.
Get Down With Band-uh! at Aggie Stadium
Don’t miss one of the country’s top college marching bands perform at the Home Game Opener September 6! As the largest and most spirited band in the UC system, California Aggie Marching Band (Band-uh!) is an integral part of Davis’s contagious community spirit.
